I am 5’8 and 135lbs and wear a size 4/small. These fit like a glove. I wear mediums in most other brands, but TNF seems to run big. They’re super comfortable and look great with black, white, and gray shirts-which is all I wear. I’m buying these in another color for sure. I was tired of wearing gym shorts in the southeastern heat, so these are great.

I did not expect to be so overjoyed with these shorts, but I’m wowed. I love that they aren’t tight against my thighs when I sit (hate the thigh spread), they seem really well-made, the colors are neutral enough to go with a lot of my weird tops, and they are comfortable without looking sloppy. I bought the khaki in the regular length and the blue in the longer inseam. Both are great! I’d describe my style as grandma-chic and I’ve never bought clothes from North Face before, so I might not be the typical demographic but I’ll be lurking again. For reference, my natural waist is 27″, my hips 33″ and I’m 5’8. The small fits me perfectly.

Love these shorts! I knew they would be a bit looser than others but shrink a little in the wash. Pockets are deep enough to put my phone in and light enough to not feel hot. I could run around all day in these!

I loved these shorts when I received them. I washed them once with free and clear detergent and didn’t even dry them and they are unwearable. They look like someone threw bleach on them.

These shorts are really comfortable. The material has some stretch so you can be active without constantly adjusting the shorts. I’m 5’3”, 113lbs and the XS fit perfectly, not too tight, not too loose. I washed the shorts in cold water and line dried.

Bought two pairs of these shorts over the weekend and already want to buy more! Extremely comfortable, lightweight, and the perfect length. To second another reviewer, love that these are not booty shorts with a crazy short inseam…nor are they too long that I feel like a dude. I normally wear a 4/6 or Small in TNF pants, but opted for the Medium in these, as I have muscular thighs and it gives them a bit more room in shorts, haha. GREAT JOB, TNF!!! Now which colors to buy next…

Love these shorts for daily wear as well as some low intensity hikes. The medium was too snug and the large is a little bigger than I would like but they have a functional drawstring that makes it work!

These are great! They are the perfect length for me. As a woman in my upper 30’s, I want things covered up, but am not looking for the grandma look, and these fit the bill. The material is nice and the waistband is really comfortable and not excessively high. I will definitely be back for more!

Durable, comfortable cute what more could I ask for? I am 5’8′ around 150lbs. Pretty straight, athletic figure. I was in need of a wardrobe refresh. Ten years and 15 pounds makes for uncomfortable hiking shorts. The technology has changed in that time. I love the elastic waistband. The length is good.
