Adrienne –
I ordered my usual size in dress shoes (9), and they were a little too small. I typically size up in running-type shoes, but the next sizes up weren’t available. These were inflexible enough in the toe that I could tell they weren’t going to work for me, unfortunately.

These shoes are perfect! Very comfortable for walking and hiking, even over rough terrain. The shoes are true to size with great arch support

I’m a very busy hiker and wear a size 6 shoe. Nice looking shoe but the heel cup is too deep and when tightening up the shoe, the edge of the heel collar and tongue push up on my ankle bone and rub with every step. I have hiking friends who wear size 8 and up and this never happens with them.

Sadly I had to return these shoes. They run at least a half size smaller than other athletic/hiking shoes. I’m a consistent size 11 in Asics, New Balance, and other brands, but 11 in these North Face shoes had my big toe pressed firmly against the front of the shoe. Too bad…they’re nice looking and seemed to have good support in the arches.

Ran a little wide for me.

They were smaller overall than than 5 other pairs i tried at same time. Very small toe box.

I was looking for a second pair of shoes I could hike in for an upcoming trip. These are a nice-looking pair of shoes, but the left shoe was tight across the top of my foot. Since I have an orthotic, it did not have enough clearance to accommodate. I am returning these and keeping the Oboz, which have a very boxy toe and enough space for the orthotic.
