Ruth –
This pair by North Face felt OK when I put my orthotics in but my heel seemed to slip up and down a little.

I really wanted to like these but I had to return. For some reason the back part of the shoe kept rubbing on my foot. Wouldn’t recommend.
Gepberx –
Bought these on 30%off sale and they are amazing! Feels light on my feet and the soles are so comfortable that even the most strenuous hikes up the Rockies are a treat! I got them so muddy on a bike trip too and they were easily cleaned off with water and wiping. Waterproof and airy. Fits perfectly and feels sturdy too!
Diana –
These shoes were a little to heavy for me. I’m 120lbs and it felt like I was carrying bricks on my feet. Definitely good ankle support but these would tire me out on a hiking trail. Also they were not too comfortable around my ankles, felt like I was wearing a cast. I guess for some people that might be a good thing. I returned them and bought the north face futurelight hiking boots and wow what a difference.
Eli V –
I bought these boots last week and have hiked twice in them. So far they have felt very stable and secure when stepping on roots/rocks. They are lighter than a lot of shoes I tried on, which is nice when walking for a while. I really enjoy the security these provide and they are very comfortable! I have never owned hiking shoes before but so far these have been great for our smaller hikes around Vermont. Definitely recommend!
Emily –
Ordered these pair of boots for hiking, before I was hiking in just Nikes and these made a world of difference on slippery trails. However, I’m disappointed in the quality, they only lasted me 6 months before the heel is coming apart.
Nikki –
love these hiking boots; did my first hike in them (~12 miles) and ended with 0 blisters! definitely recommend
Swimbikerunshop –
I’ve been wearing these all winter to hike through the snow and they are perfect for that! My feet stay warm and dry. I sized 1/2 size up so I can wear heavier socks.

Conduct road construction site reviews. Needed something sturdy and light, though with enough traction to get down embankments. Awesome Pick!
Rosie –
Warm, waterproof and love the selection of colors.
Lvinn4 –
This is my second pair of this model. I have flat feet my Orthotics fit comfortably and the high top lace up tops support my ankles which allow me to continue to get out for my walks
Cyn –
I used them to hike in Yosemite National Park and they are super comfortable. I got them on sale so I couldn’t beat the price. I would recommend wearing high socks because they kept running on the ankles.
Morgan –
Overall I am very happy with this paid of hiking boots. They are very light and breathable. The only thing I wish was it had a little more cushion in the heels. It isn’t bad, but I may add an insert for extra cushion.
ACG –
These boots are really nice. Their are lightweight and comfortable right out of the box. I first ordered a half size bigger and they were huge. I order my normal size and felt like they run slightly on the larger size. But the half size smaller would probably be too small. It works great if you like hiking with thicker socks. The colors are cute. I just did my first hike (4 mi, moderate) and they were great. No blisters, no issues. It’s definitely a keeper.

I have been looking at hiking shoes for awhile and I originally looked at Columbia Newton ridge shoes since I liked the look but they were very Uncomfortable. I have thin flatter feet and the arch support was horrible. So I found these northface hedgehog mids they have the same nice sleek look but are 100% better in comfort. I usually wear an 8.5 women’s and it ran true to my size. They are lightweight and very comfortable. They are not clunky like some other hiking shoes I have looked at. So far they have lived up the the waterproof description. I have worn them in some pretty hard rain and got quiet a bit of water on them and they have kept my feet dry. I have always heard that north face is a good brand but these have really lived up to the north face name. I got these specifically for hiking however I find myself wearing them on a daily basis since they’re so comfortableI am very happy with this purchase.

Very happy with this produce. Took to Big Sur and didn’t need to break in. Bought a size 6 and plenty of room for thick socks. I buy tennis shoes in the same size.
Puga –
Love my new boots
Jessi –
These are comfortable and light hiking shoes. The price can’t be beat. Sizing is spot on.

I wore them to many hikes so far! Great grip, fits well! My feet don’t hurt!
Bluntmami –
These are my first pair of hiking boots, I looked around and compared different brands and these seemed like they had the best reviews. They were not wrong one bit, they are super comfy and you feel supported. Overall happy with my purchase, highly recommend!
Rose –
Wore these hiking in the Rocky Mountains and had no issues! Super comfortable and good support.
KG –
Great for hiking in winter, spring and I guess all seasons. Water resistant and hence works great for muddy seasons. Very comfortable from the very first wear. Amazing even in icy conditions. Highly recommend it.
Morgan –
I recently purchased these hiking boots to replace my old, leather boots. I couldn’t be happier with these! Not only are they significantly lighter weight than my old boots, but they are extremely comfortable. I love the high ankle support, but also appreciate they are easy to tie lower. These are true to size, I’m between a 6.5 and 7, and I purchased the 7, which fit well with my Smartwool socks.
Aishu –
I use it for hikes and in rains.
