I love this parka. It is a comfortable, longer style to keep me warmer and has zippered pockets. I have only worn it twice so far since the weather has been temperate but one of those days it was rainy, windy and cold and I was toasty warm and it repels water. This will last for years! I usually wear an XL but bought a 2XL for bulky sweaters and layering. It is a little big but that is perfect for me.

Living in a cold place (Vermont weather is no joke) and always being cold anyway, I don’t have the time or the patience for a subpar coat! I previously had a fantastically warm LLBean coat – great quality, but not the most stylish. I took the plunge on buying this parka and it’s a great mix of style and warmth. I’m 5′-5, 160 – I bought a large, it fits nicely over my hips, and with or without a sweater underneath. It’s fitted without being constricting or making you into the Michelin man. The navy is a great alternative to the black you see everywhere. The hood and fur trim zip off separately, which i appreciate. The length really adds warmth. It’s not bulky. I was told by the saleswoman that this was TNF’s warmest winter coat, so I was expecting to be SUPER warm, but so far I’ve just been comfortable, which is nice, not noticeably hot or cold (maybe a factor of my upgrade to down.) The outer layer is not waterproof, but water and wind resistant, definitely better and more durable than just the typical down coat thin material. The hood is insulated, super warm, and the depth is adjustable! The hand pockets are nice and big, wish they were a tad more insulated though. The North Face logos are sewn in color-matched thread – which is nice if you’d rather not be a walking billboard. (Note – I ended up purchasing this coat locally, but still wanted to share my review!)

This is a very warm coat, and the length is great for walking in the frozen tundra of the Northeast! It is a little tight through the upper body, so order one size up. It will be my go to winter coat for several years!

Love this coat! It’s warm and keeps me dry. I recently wore it in a parade in the middle of a snow storm and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend the coat and I’ve gotten a couple compliments on the teal color.

I really like this coat so far! The North Face is always a good go to brand and this has been a great coat. The quality is nice and I like the Graphite Grey that was on sale. I am 5’11” and 160 lbs, so I ordered the large. The arm length is great, but the body part is a little big. That is fine with me though! I will order this brand and style again in the future!

The fit of this coat is very flattering and I like how the bottom back slightly fishtails. For me, this fits true to size. I always wear small in tops (size 4 or 27 pants) and the small parka fit perfectly for me (5’8″ 148lbs, 34B chest, 27″ waist, 36″ hips). The fit is great while still providing ample room for a heavy sweater. I would prefer the sleeves to be an inch longer or similar to the fold up/down style of TNF Tremaya.
Despite how flattering it looks on, it has a bit of a trench coat look to me which I don’t love. The hood is a bit shallow making it difficult to keep on if you have a tuque with a pompom on it or a high ponytail. I also can never understand why TNF insists in putting the pockets on the outside of their down coats. All my other coats from different brands have the pocket open underneath the down so I can take my gloves off and warm my hands in the pockets. This is not the case with this parka. As this winter has been unusually warm, I haven’t tested it out in proper cold weather (single digits or below), but I know these insulated pockets will not keep my hands warm. Too bad.

Really nice jacket but Ugh! No one mentioned that the outside of the coat has a tacky texture that attracts lint and pet hair terribly! Also, the fur around the hood lays strangely, like a reviewer said, almost like an upside down “V” rather than an upside down “U.” And finally, the pockets aren’t lined and the zipper closure rubs uncomfortably against your hand when you put your hand inside. Too bad, because the style and olive green color are really nice and I’m sure this coat would’ve been so warm & cozy. Sending back!

I love everything about this coat. I wanted a white parka and my search continued to come up with this one. Because of my height (6’1), women coats really didn’t fit me well so I’ve always bought men’s coats. I went to the northface store in NY to buy one while visiting, but the store didn’t carry it. The sales associate was very helpful and nice when I asked to try on any woman’s XXL to see if it fit and she found one. That XXL fit perfectly and the sales associate ordered the coat I wanted and had it delivered in two days to my home in VA. This XXL fit way better than the one in the store and the sleeves were just long enough to my liking. It also outlined my shape instead of the boxy men’s look. I bought my daughter the exact one in black in November and she really loves it. This coat is very warm with a perfect fit. I will continue to get my coates from Northface since I can be assured of the fit for women. This winter has been brutally cold and this coat has kept us very warm. I can’t say enough about this coat. Please check it out for yourself.

Beautiful jacket. I ordered a size up and glad I did. It fit perfectly. It’s extremely warm and cozy. I highly recommend this jacket if you live in a very cold area as I do. I use this coat daily on the snowy cold Michigan days. I love this coat because it keeps me warm without feeling too hot. I am not restricted, and the fit is great, I don’t feel like a snowman. I am 5’6″ 190lbs and wear an XL, the sizing guide was great.

This coat is everything I was looking for. I live in the PNW and I needed something extra warm but that’s also water proof. I love the length of this coat, it hits mid-thigh for me. It’s light weight yet surprisingly warm. I am 5’9″ and 155lbs. I originally ordered the size Large because so many of the reviews said it runs small or tight in the shoulders. It definitely does not run small. I returned the Large for a Medium and it’s a perfect fit. I love North Face, they make a great product.

I received this jacket as a gift 2 Christmas’ ago but I never *truly* appreciated it until this past week. My husband and I were in Iceland 12/28-1/4 and this jacket kept me SO warm. I can attest to the windproof trait of this coat as we were occasionally caught in high winds (~40mph) and they didn’t cut through this jacket at all. All of the activities we did were outside (including being inside a glacier) and I was completely comfortable the whole time. Would recommend over and over again!!

I live in Anchorage, Alaska and wear this jacket every time I go outside in the winter! I’m 5’3″ and 125lbs and I found that an XS fit perfectly. I’ve worn it hiking, downhill skiing, and in my office when the building is cold. It’s really durable, I was climbing over boulders and crags on a hike and it wasn’t damaged at all. I took a couple hard falls while skiing and the zippers/snaps/etc didn’t budge. It’s kept me warm in snow, wind, and snow+wind+rain. The best part: it’s always dry by the next day.

I wear this parka pretty much every day out here in Boston. It’s been a cold winter, and even when it gets down into the teens and I’m taking my puppy outside at 5am I’m warm. I’m 5’3″ and it hits just above my knees which is great. I really wanted a waterproof coat as well and this one meets my expectations. I took it skiing (my first time) and even with that much moisture, from both falling down and falling snow, I stayed dry and warm!
My only caveat to loving this is I’m not a huge fan of the Velcro that goes over the zipper. It’s not a deal breaker, but Velcro does tend to get threads etc stuck in it. I got the bright red color so it’s easy to spot when there’s stuff in the Velcro. Even with that I would still buy this parka again!

I decided to invest in a good winter jacket this season and I’m so glad I did. I am a college student in New England who is constantly walking to and from class as well as doing dog walking on the side. I am constantly outside walking and the winters here can be very cold and wet. This jacket is perfect as it keeps me super warm while still being flattering. I am 5’7, 130ish pounds and the small fits perfectly.

I love the tan color. The fabric is alittle stiff, though, which makes it not the coziest of coats. Still breathable though, just feels a little restricting. Details look great, like the lining material and great 2-way zipper, and fur. Cozy dear pockets. I did notice the fur on the hood creases easily and doesn’t look as nice as when I got it a week ago. Also, I feel like there could be more down to make it warmer, especially for the price.
SIZING: I feel it runs large. I’m 5’4″ 135 lbs and the small fit great. Accentuates my curves. The medium would be good for more layering and long periods outdoors, but the stiffness of the fabric makes it uncomfortable and bulky feeling like during suburban outings, especially sitting in a car. On long walks it was very toasty. But I live in the city and wanted something a little dressy and fashionable. I tried the black too but felt the material looked cheap. I still got lots of compliments! Wish it came in more lighter, fun colors, instead of the usual drab, wintery ones! Overall a good deal if you can get it on sale.

I love my new coat! It is warm, much warmer than I had expected, yet not as heavy as I had anticipated. Easy on and off. Adequate pockets, but not bulky. That is: the materials and the design are excellent! And the appearance is stylish!

So the Princess snapped her fingers and poof. She had a luxurious, stylish and warm Arctic Parka with faux fur edging. The Princess was so happy, she snapped her fingers and the Prince was gone. I bought this jacket in February 2018 and have used it every winter. I live on an island in NJ where we have a lot of cold harsh wind all winter and and it has kept me warmer than any other jacket I’ve owned. I’ve also used it for trips to Colorado and New England. It holds up well to snow and wind. I’m 5’6″ 131 pounds and bought a size medium. I could probably fit into a small but I usually layer up underneath. The jacket is still in great condition and I get compliments all the time and I literally wear it everyday 6 months out of the year. The quality is excellent and I highly recommend!
